Product Description Early fall or winter is the time of the year when mice move in as part of their normal movement patterns. Mice can be humanely live-trapped and put back in their own environment. Live-catching devices are sold to make this transition possible.

Fair warning to all September 21, 2008 Im going to buy this trap but i read through some of the reviews be warned that mice have a impressive homing instinct it is neccesary to transport them over a mile away or they will find there way back laughing all the way. Also i noticed that people are attaching human charistics to these vermin i would remind you that they are possible carriers of deer ticks, rabies, and the hanta virus. I choose not to use poison becuase i dont want dead animals in my walls.
Catch and Release December 1, 2007 I have a Havahart mouse cage and the next size up for chipmunks. I caught 30 chipmunks one summer. In the last 3 weeks I have caught a mouse most nights. Sometimes they manage to carry off the cashew that I place as bait, but I win more often than they do. You can use a long iced teaspoon to place the bait. My fingers will reach the tray so I usually just hold the outside stems in place while placing the bait. I think I need a second mouse cage as they apparently are multiplying faster than I am catching them. I like the catch and release benefit. I did catch a baby opossum on my porch in the chipmunk cage. She barely fit. She was adorable.
Amazing ! July 17, 2007 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Within 1 hour of using this trap with dry oatmeal I had caught a mouse that was making surprise appearances in my kitchen leaving his calling card ! I set the trap (it takes some figuring before getting it to work correctly) turned off the lights at midnight and by 1 Am I heard the cage rattling! Brought the mouse to a field and set him free. Cannot recommend this humane trap enough.
Current version poorly manufactured July 3, 2007 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I have had & used 3 various Havahart traps with great success in the past. My mouse trap finally needed to be replaced, so I readily purchased another Havahart. I am disappointed to report that the current quality and trip lever design is poor. The 'flip wires' will not smoothly or completely close (the doors arrived out-of-shape), so even if you could set the trap, the mouse would be able to slip out under the door. Too bad. I'm purchasing other humane traps to try.
caught loads of mice but hard to use May 15, 2007 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
i caught multiple mice daily with this trap, but found it really difficult to set and to clean. eventually one of the bars that holds the door open got bent and it didn't wokr anymore, still, it works better than anythingg else i've tried.
